About
Shoreview Music Lessons currently offers in-person, in-home lessons and virtual options in Shoreline and the greater Seattle area. Lessons are available on piano, woodwinds, brass, and guitar for all ages and a wide range of experience levels. Shoreview Music Lessons is owned and operated locally by Shoreline residents Daniel Lombard and Rebekah Way.
Meet Your Instructors
Trumpet, Piano
Daniel is an active trumpet player with experience on multiple instruments and musical styles based in Seattle, WA. He graduated from Western Washington University in 2017 with a bachelor's in trumpet performance. He studied both traditional music theory and jazz theory.
Since graduating, Daniel has been touring nationally and internationally with the Portland-based band Marchfourth and his own project Hard Maybe based in Seattle. He also performs locally in Seattle pit orchestras, most recently in Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan Society's production of "Cabaret.” Along with performing, he has prevailing passion for education. He has worked privately as a trumpet, piano, and guitar teacher since 2012. He also taught a jazz combo at his alma mater.
Daniel Lombard
Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Piano
Rebekah is an active saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist in Seattle. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2018 with a degree in journalism and music. While at WWU, she was actively involved in the jazz department and led the big band for two years as first chair alto. She studied jazz theory, arranging, composition and history along with traditional music theory.
Rebekah regularly performs and tours in the Puget Sound region with her project Hard Maybe and in other groups. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and experience levels. She has worked privately as a woodwinds and piano instructor since 2014. As an educator, she hopes to foster a lifelong passion and excitement for music in others.
